About The Event
This workshop is designed as a fun day of painting and learning about colour mixing with oils, keeping your paint looking fresh and clean on your canvas, and working with big brushes. You will learn about oil painting mediums, cleaning up properly, and other tips and tricks that will get you back on track with your oil painting, or help you to give it a try for the first time. In the workshop, we will produce one or two painting studies from reference material that Andrea will supply.
This workshop will suit you if
you have some experience with painting but you would like a refresher,
if you are already an oil painter, but you'd like to see how Andrea does it,
you are used to acrylics or other paint, and you would like to learn about oil painting,
you would like to try a 'taster' of oil painting before…

Your ticket includes tuition, tea and coffee. You will be provided with a list of materials to bring, or you can opt to use Andrea's materials for an extra charge of $50 (choose the second ticket category if this is your preference).
