Open Studio - 27 June
The Cotton Mills, Studio 52
I will be opening my studio on 27 June from 11am to 4pm, along with 10 other studios in Footscray and Yarraville, for the inaugural Open Studio Trail in Melbourne's inner west. My studio is within the fabulous Cotton Mills at 91 Moreland Street in Footscray.
Please feel free to pop in. I'll be at the easel doing demonstrations, and I'll have a still life arrangement set up and some materials available if you would like to have a go too. You'll also be able to view some of my artwork, including my 2023 Archibald Packing Room Prize winning portrait.
Unfortunately, my studio is up three flights of stairs, and there is no lift, so please bear that in mind when you come. My artist colleagues Godwin Bradbeer and Rachel Theodorakis are also here at the Cotton Mills, and they are, mercifully, at ground level. To find out more, visit @openstudiotrail on Instagram.
Caloundra Winter Workshops
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Caloundra Arts Centre in July, I am offering these two workshops for Portraits and Still Life, as well as an artist talk on Monday the 13th of July at 5pm.

I have a soft spot for this beautiful part of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, with its glorious beaches and atmosphere of family and community. May I suggest hat an art workshop is a good excuse for a little winter holiday...? Hope to see you there.
